Chosen: Marathon for Adoption in New Braunfels, Texas, is a benefit race whose mission is to impact the livelihood of orphans around the world and help adoptive families offset the cost of adoption. All proceeds will go towards adoptive families and directly care for the needs of 250 children in a Ukrainian orphanage. Antonio Marathon & 1/2 Marathon 12/4/2010 - 13th Annual Mission to Mission When: Saturday, December 4, 2010.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. Every December, the San Antonio Mission Trail Rotary Club hosts the Mission to Mission Charity Bike Ride Tour. Starting at Mission Country Park, the tour has three bike routes that all take riders past four of the historic Spanish colonial mission churches. The Family Tour is a 16-mile ride that stays mostly on paved hike & bike trail. The 34-mile ride goes to Braunig Lake and back. The 58-mile ride goes to Elemendorf and Calaveras Lake and back. This year the Mission to Mission Charity Bike Tour benefits Polio Plus, "Meals on Wheels", Rape Crisis Center, Seton Home, Ready, Enable, and Los Compadres.
